Machine Bed:
- Machine bed is made from single piece high quality gray cast iron grade FG-26 , hardness of bed is up to 190-220BHN
- Bed is artificially stress relived after casted and before taking in production
- Polymer concrete filed bed shows excellent damping property and stability against vibration
- Table traverse in V- flat guide ways of bed coated with turcite-b, for slip stick free movement
Longitudinal and cross table
- The longitudinal and cross slides are made from high quality gray cast iron grade FG-26, and have highly precise scrapped V and flat guide ways, with the distance between guide ways optimally suited to the machines overall rigidity, the slide rest completely on the guideways of the machine bed through the entire working length. This provide cornerstone for the excellent inherent grinding straightness of 0.002mm over 450mm measure length
- Swiveling table is provided on longitudinal table, for taper grinding. Work head and tail stock clamped on swiveling plate
- The longitudinal slide with swiveling table is driven manually via the hand wheel, or automatically via hydraulic cylinder with infinitely variable speed control, The quick reacting hydraulic with soft and very precise conversions ensure high precision during rapid speed change, (In CNC version longitudinal traverse is possible through ball screw and servo motor)
- Cross table: The drive is via electrical hand wheel or automatically via a ball screw and servo motor, mechanics of the wheel head axis include a fine adjustment device enabling in-feed correction in the range of fraction of a micrometer, cross slide movement rate (0.1/0. 01/0.001/ div. of hand wheel) in manual mode can be select through touch screen interface unit located in operation panel
- Standard CNC Version is equipped with optical linear scale for batter positional accuracy
Regulating wheel head:
- The hydrodynamic plain bearing of the external grinding spindle guarantees many years of trouble free service life and excellent surface finish over the ground component. It is wear free with no clearance adjustment and low maintenance, re-circulating oil supply provided for continuous and confirm oil in the bearings, prevention switch is provide to elements dry running of spindle, spindle is made from nickel- chrome steel duel hardened, ground and lapped before assembled in the head
- Belt driven spindle can be used for internal grinding attachment, hinge type internal grinding spindle fitted over external wheel head spindle, variety of spindle options are available like, 15,000 RPM, 20,000 RPM, 30,000 RPM, 60,000RPM, 1,20,000RPM
Work head
- The swelling work head with hydrodynamic bearings makes it possible to grind between fixed centers as well as with rotating live center, the powerful work head spindle made from nickel-chrome steel and duel hardened and precisely ground and lapped before take it in to assembly
- Work head spindle is relived from belt tension rotate in hydrodynamic multi surface plain bearing supported at both end, roundness during live grinding can be achieve less than 1µ
- The work head spindle is driven by induction motor , frequency converter for infinitely speed variation is standard part of machine
- Work head with preloaded and grease packed precision ball bearing and cartridge spindle is also available at extra cost
Tail stock
- The rigid tail stock has a generously dimensioned barrel for holding morse -3 center, The barrel glides in covered plain bearing, center pressure can be finely adjustable
- The tail stock can be fitted with hydraulic barrel retraction and adjustable dressing device
